ABOUT

I am an award-winning documentary filmmaker and creative consultant specializing in mission-driven storytelling and visual content. For several years, I served as Director/Cinematographer/Editor with The Nature Conservancy in Seattle, creating documentaries, PSAs, and educational content that connected audiences with critical environmental challenges. My documentary Prophets, Teachers and Kings, sheds light on an LA minority subculture, and to date has won 27 national and international film festival awards. With over 35 years in the motion picture and television industry and formal training that includes an MFA in Film (Vermont College of Fine Arts), a BA in Theatre (Eckerd College), and a Specialist Certificate in Composition and Orchestration for Film and TV (Berklee College of Music), I bring a rare combination of artistic versatility and professional depth to every project. My creative toolkit spans the full spectrum of visual storytelling: documentary filmmaking, cinematography, video editing, 3D animation, motion graphics, music composition, sound design, graphic design, and FAA-licensed drone operation. This breadth allows me to serve as a complete creative department, handling projects from concept through final delivery. Currently, I teach Documentary Production, screenwriting and Motion Capture as an adjunct professor at the University of Tampa. I'm passionate about collaboration with smart, creative, mission-driven people and thrive on the variety inherent in visual storytelling – one day shooting in the field, the next day editing in the studio, then composing music or creating 3D or 2D animation. I partner with conservation nonprofits and mission-driven organizations through creative consulting retainers, serving as a dedicated creative partner who understands your mission and delivers consistent, high-quality visual content that inspires action and drives impact.
